UNDER CONSTRUCTION: ON TOP OF THE WORLD

Last year we were engaged to reimagine the interiors of an amazing penthouse apartment located in ‘Eastbourne Towers’ in Sydney’s Darling Point and this week construction has begun!

We are bringing this apartment into the 21st century with a state-of-the-art kitchen, dining, bedrooms, bathrooms and rooftop terrace befitting of its unrivalled panoramic views of Sydney.

Construction of the tower itself began in the late 1960s, and the 54 apartments over 20 storeys was completed 1971.

The architecture is reminiscent of Harry Seidler’s infamous ‘Blues Point Tower’ with its modernist box-like features and concrete slab construction rising out of the foreshore just across the Harbour.

The internal bones and heart are still going strong allowing us to create a beautiful, modern, luxurious family home.

Situated on the top floor of the tower, the apartment has extraordinary 360 degree views of Sydney Harbour – from the Heads to Rose Bay, from Double Bay to Sydney city and beyond the Harbour Bridge.

Our brief is to transform the tired space into a luxurious but comfortable family home with an open plan kitchen, custom joinery, enclosed balconies and fabulous entertaining spaces.
